Adult - The fourth evolutionary Level. Adult-Level Digimon are usually more mature and fairly on the large side, but not always.

Attribute - One of six traits that each Digimon has corresponding to the kind of data in their DigiCore; these include Vaccine, Data, Virus, Free, Variable, and Unknown.

Baby II - The second evolutionary Level, reached after Baby Level. The Digimon’s infancy continues in a smaller, somewhat more complex but still primitive form.

Baby - The first evolutionary Level a Digimon exists at after hatching. Usually small, weak, and primitive in form.

BITS - The currency of the Digital World. It is usually distributed in the form of coins and bills.

Black Digitron - A substance that increases the weight and hardness of whatever it is mixed into, turning its appearance black in the process. Digimon affected by Black Digitron are usually heavier and have more endurance at the cost of their speed.

Black Digizoid - A variety of Chrome Digizoid that’s black in color. It allows the Digimon to merge the data of its weapons with it, allowing them to effectively store their weapons in their armor.

Blue Diamante - A precious gem that manifests at very high altitudes. It carries the elemental aspect of Wind.

Blue Digizoid - A variety of Chrome Digizoid that’s blue in color. It is the lightest form of Digizoid and enables Digimon to move at high speeds.

Brown Digizoid - A variety of Chrome Digizoid that’s brown in color. It is very elastic and malleable while still retaining its hardness.

Child - The third evolutionary Level and the first capable of truly fighting and defending itself.

Chrome Digizoid - The refined form of Chrondigizoit and the hardest metal in the Digital World.

Chrondigizoit - The unrefined form of the hardest metal in the Digital World. It has the unique property of being able to merge with living tissue.

DigiCore - The core of a Digimon’s being; their kernel of artificial intelligence. Usually takes the form of a sphere of data inside the Digimon’s body.

DigiEgg - The starting point of a Digimon’s life cycle, in which they are a formless mass of data inside of an egg.

Digimon - A digital lifeform that includes a Digicore, wire frame, texture, and which can be classified into having both an Attributes and a Type. Short for “digital monster”.

dramon - A variety of Digimon whose DigiCore contains a high amount of Dragon-species data.

evolution - What occurs when Digimon progress from one Level to the next, changing form as well as special abilities.

Gold Digizoid - A variety of Chrome Digizoid that’s golden in color. It gives Digimon the highest possible defense while still being lightweight.

Green Malachite - A precious gem that manifests far below the ground. It carries the elemental aspect of Earth.

hacking - The act of directly modifying the data of something in the Digital World through means of data manipulation.

holy ring - An item which contains the aspect of the element of Light, usually worn or associated with Holy-species Digimon and enhancing their divine powers.

Level - The stages of a Digimon's evolution, which progress from Fresh to Baby, Baby to Child, Child to Adult, Adult to Perfect, and Perfect to Ultimate.

mode change - A form of evolution that occurs when a Digimon changes form without changing level.

Obsidian Digizoid - A variety of Chrome Digizoid that’s obsidian in color. It is the sharpest variety of the metal.

Perfect - The fifth evolutionary Level. Perfect-Level Digimon are more advanced and powerful than adults, able to affect their environment on a significant scale.

pseudo-Digimon - A Digimon-like creature that possesses a form akin to a Digimon’s, but lacks a DigiCore. Pseudo-Digimon are usually generated by true Digimons’ attacks and act in concert with said Digimon.

Red Digizoid - A variety of Chrome Digizoid that’s red in color. It gives Digimon a very high defense.

sorcery - An advanced programming language that involves manipulating the natural forces of the Digital World, usually manifesting in the form of elemental magic, summoning, and curses and spells of malicious or beneficial nature. It is different from hacking and other forms of data manipulation.

species - An individual variety of Digimon or a collection of them based on shared form, characteristics, and heritage, ex. - "Dragon-species".

subspecies - A species of Digimon that has split off from another, usually due to mutation or the introduction of new data-types to their DigiCore.

Super Ultimate - An evolutionary Level that occurs when a Digimon exceeds even the limits of the Ultimate level. Only a handful of Digimon have ever achieved this Level of evolution.

texture - The outer surface of a Digimon’s body, giving it its outward appearance.

Type - A form of Digimon classification based on broad and shared characteristics.

type-species - A species of Digimon from which one or more subspecies has diverged

Ultimate - The sixth and (usually) final evolutionary Level. Ultimate Digimon exist at a level of strength far beyond even Perfects and normally represent a Digimon at the absolute peak of its potential.

wire frame - A digimon’s “skeletal structure”, giving their body shape and definition.

Witchelny - Another dimension where the advanced programming language known as "sorcery" is practiced. Many years ago, beings from this dimension came to the Digital World and were converted into the form of Digimon.

X-Antibody - A mysterious antibody that causes Digimon to undergo further mutations and change appearance. Some Digimon also naturally carry the X-Antibody, but their forms without its effect are unknown.

X-Evolution - What occurs when a Digimon changes form when affected by the X-Antibody.
